About the Creator

Hey there, I’m Tux! I’m a nonbinary artist and biology nerd, and the creator of this silly fictional species!

I accidentally created the amphimorpho in 2016 after falling head over heels for a random critter I’d doodled that eventually became my fursona! I decided I liked Tux’s design and character concept enough that I wanted to expand that out to a whole species; creating alien species with lore wasn’t anything new to me at the time, but for some reason, this is the one that stuck!

They are the central focus of my ongoing webcomic project, Meet Me in the Woods, which features a handful of amphimorpho protagonists and characters (or, y’know, humans that got turned into them). You should go read it over here! ;3
